Amazing location with great view over the bay, there is steps down to the beach so you can either relax on the chairs up away from beach (in peace and quiet) or sunbath at the beach. Restaurant has fantastic Italian menu.

The breakfast is excellent. The staff is professional and friendly. The sea breeze on the terrace with the wonderful view is exceptionnel.

I liked everything. Gisella- the manager was warm and all the staff were helpful. I loved resting in the cabanas.

staff were very friendly. proximity to water and having loungers that offer shade but get sea breeze and are not right on the beach (where beach boys lurk) but mere steps from water, are ideal for relaxing with a view. really clean and pretty much bug free. we pretty much extended our stay from 2 nights to 5 in the end.

Visiwa is a lovely boutique family-run hotel in a great location. You can swim in their pool or walk down to the beach, or enjoy the views and sea breeze from one of their well placed cabanas. The rooms are basic but comfortable and well designed with fabulous views, air-con, a small fridge and a kettle. They also provide shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The food was good and the fruit salad was amazing! We will definitely be returning.

Probably, the best location in Watamu: clean beach (if you would like to have white sand beach and not the beach covered by dry seaweed) - this is the place. If you like to enter the ocean to swim not stepping on corals but via sand (high tide time for sure :)) - this is the place. The view from the hotel is fantastic. Restaurant is very good. Good wine list. The place to enjoy the life.

Situated in a quiet area on the beachfront. Rooms are spacious, well-equipped and airy. Spotlessly clean throughout. Food is very good. Able to eat outdoors either near pool or overlooking beach. Lots of shaded loungers to relax. Pool is a good size and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very well managed hotel and highly recommended.

It was a hidden gem - such a restful and delightful place to stay. Corinne the owner is so hospitable friendly and helpful and her team are equally so. The breakfasts were the best of all the places I have stayed in my trip to Kenya. They have a complimemtary delightful afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes and bitings which are just delicious. The views from everywhere on the property are stunning. Each room has its own wifi link and Netflix. Beds were super comfy and room was spacious. A short but wonderful stay. I would highly recomend Visiwa
