The swimming pool facilities is very poor and very untidy but the rooms director manager Ian explained to us that it was separate from the hotel and it was sorting out with the swimming pool staff and employees

Not the first time we were at the Fairmont, and the choice to ccome back was easy. The rooms are large and well equipped and the beds are AMAZING! The location of the hotel in between downtown DC and Georgetown is ideal. Just a short stroll and you're in Georgetown with restaurants and shops. Metrostation is close by. There were large (wedding) parties at the courtyard of the hotel. Luckily we had our room to the outside of the hotel.

The location of the Fairmont is excellent; right next to Georgetown and walking distance from Downtown DC. The area is very quiet so no outside noise. The room is spacious, well equipped, modern and looked after. The elevators are super fast, so no long wait. The lobby, bar and outside area are very comfy. The doormen are really helpful and wellcoming and the service at the bar is very pleasant.

Great location, next to M street, shops on both sides ,nice cafés beautiful morning walk alongside the lake .. the best time, not the summer, for sure! Regardless of the season, the hotel location was the best. Not to forget to mention that the staff was friendly and so helpful 😊

The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Location is nice and the staff are generally helpful and friendly. The hotel gives access to the gym located in the same building. The hotel provides a car service for short trips.
