On arrival we were kept waiting at reception even though the lady saw us arrive, which seemed a bit rude. We were given a quick run down of kitchen usage rules, hot tub rules, car park, and shown to our room door (not inside). The room was clean and comfortable but a little small. Really nice wet room with toiletries. Hotel boosts of LCD TVs with Sky but our TV did not work. The room was noisey from other guests in the communal areas next door. If you get Room 1 expect to be woken up around 6.30am by the staff getting breakfast ready, then expect to be kept awake by the guests chatting while eating breakfast. On check out, the receptionist could not be bothered to ask if everything was OK, so we didn't bother to mention the TV not working. Let someone else complain!! Great location, just a short walk to the lake, shops and restaurants. About one and a half hour's drive from Queenstown and driving the Crown Ranges road is fun, and very scenic.

We had breakfast included, access to a hot tub, a lovely room ... all for the same cost as a shabby room in Queenstown. We loved it.

We had the cottage and couldn’t complain about a thing. Location was excellent. Hot tub and outdoor area was fantastic.

Location was great, just around the corner from centre of town. Everything including breakfast was ideal. The room was very clean and well set out.

A good welcome, we arrived early and was able to park at the motel. They only have 5 parking lots, although there’s free parking nearby. The morning breakfast spread was good, with an option for bacon and scrambled egg on toast as well. We were in room 6 which is at the from of the motel facing the busy Brownston Street. I suggest you take earplugs plugs just in case you’re on a road facing room. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. The communal kitchen is spacious with plenty of tea and coffee supplies, there isn’t hot drink making facilities in the bedrooms Overall a good stay.

The property was quite close to the lake and shops. There are two good supermarkets close by and a big variety of places to eat and drink. Our room was very comfortable and had enough space for us to unpack. Everything was clean.
