The owner is lovely and showed us around the shared amenities which were exceptionally clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and the lounge area is really comfy. Nice garden area to sit outside. It was lovely and quiet.

Loved our stay here and the staff were so lovely. The kitchen was very spacious and really well stocked. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into this place! The facilities are great, there is a lovely bbq & outdoor area as well as a hot spa.

Great facilities! Easily the best Backpackers/lodge I’ve stayed in within NZ. The location was perfect, we could happily walk into town and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly!

Cleanliness. Being a backpackers place, all the common areas including the shared washrooms were kept extremely tidy. Definitely recommended for people who would like to stay on a budget.

Owners were so lovely and welcoming. The kitchen had plenty of room and all the items we needed. All facilities were clean and the whole place felt very welcoming.
