It's quite cosy and the staff are brilliant. I have stayed a few times here, and despite it not having a lift,I keep coming because of the staff who are warm and welcoming and ready to extend a hand for help when needed. We loved xmas decorations and large mirrors. It was quiet and comfortable at night.

Able to change details- staff very friendly. Family room big - carpet stained - could do with replacing. Shower awkward to operate but bath lovely. All in all a good value for money hotel that could do with a little bit more TLC but good value for money Can't comment on food.

The convenience of the location. All the staff, such as Suzi, Dan, Jo & Rachel were lovely, welcoming, helpful & attentive. The bed was super-comfy & the room was very clean. There was a lovely deep bath too!! Overall, at this price point, it's great value for money

The fact they changed the initial room paid for paid for king and asked for not a specifc king room, I was given the room I visually didnt like; they changed the room and It was much better; staff were ok; albeit they battle with the condition of the hotel; that is either on a long refurb waiting list or being ran until disposed of as an asset within mercure hotel group asset
