Young lad on reception/bar was helpful and genuine. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. Private entrance round back for hotel guests, so don't have to walk through the boozer (which could be daunting if you're not used to rowdiness). Enough clean towels. Got given a family room, as he couldn't' find key for double, so plenty of space and pillows. Shared bathrooms that were clean. Free parking on arrival and lasts for 24 hours (always a bonus).

When we arrived at the hotel, a wonderful lady welcomed us, she was very friendly and helpful, everything was great until she left. There was a young girl who kept saying "you're alright" with her disturbing looks. It made me happy with an incredible Halloween decoration. He deserves 8 points just for that blonde lady's sake

Nice big breakfast , well cooked. Owners were very accommodating. We've been before and knew exactly what to expect. Lively pub on a Friday and Saturday evening with live music and dj , music finishes at midnight. We were let down last minute with accommodation elsewhere and they fitted us in at short notice.
