Please note the property comprises 2 buildings; Walton Hall on the island and Waterton Park Hotel on the main land, directly opposite the old hall. Accommodation can be allocated to either of the buildings, subject to availability at the time of booking. Rooms in Walton Hall cannot be guaranteed.Children can only use the swimming pool if accompanied by an adult.Baby cots must be booked directly with the hotel and are subject to availability. Any surcharges will be added to the booking when confirmed with the hotel.Disabled facilities are limited. For further information you can submit a special request when booking or use the contact details found on the booking confirmation.Access to the spa facilities are an additional charge.This is a non-smoking hotel and smoking is only allowed in the patio areas outside the property.For bookings of 6 or more rooms different cancellation policies apply, the hotel will contact you with these policies after booking.Dining is on the mainland. The Grand Cafe is open all day for dining, including dinner in the evening. The Casual and Fine Dining menus offer locally sourced seasonal dishes to suit all preferences.Spa access is not included in overnight stays unless booked onto a specific spa breaks. Waterton Park is a beautiful setting, and the swimming pool has a great view over the lake. We were in the newer building (i.e. not on the island in the lake) and the room was huge and shower very powerful.

We stayed for one night with a half day spa pass and had a spa treatment. The location of the hotel on a lake is beautiful. Our room was in the old house. We had a lovely big room. The bed was not the most comfortable, and there were few toiletries provided - an old soap, shampoo, and body lotion. You have to pay an additional fee to use the spa area (free times are 7am to 9am). The spa was basic but nice. The outside jacuzzi are lovely, and you can have drinks brought to you. The staff were very friendly. The spa treatment was lovely. The restaurant was very short staffed but the staff were lovely and dealt with many complaints well. The food we had was very nice. All in all, it was a lovely stay.

Great check in and warm welcome, great view from the room. Lovely surroundings, and imagine in summer great for walking and golfing as right on the golf course.. Great Breakfast service, host very helpful. Restaurant in a lovely setting, food ok.

Room was clean very spacious, Bed was very uncomfortable, both me and my daughter daid the same. Was a little suprised I had to pay £15.00 each for me and my daughter to use the spa - pool/jacuzzi/ steam room. I have stayed in many hotels and these basics are included in with the booking..

Location was lovely. Surrounded by a Golf Course, lake etc. Lounge Area very pleasent, comfy seats. Food was delicious. Staff all very pleasent. Spa massage very relaxing and professional
