When travelling by train get off at sandal Station turn right at the bottom of the ramp approx 250 metres down road

Having read some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about my stay. I need’nt have worried though as everything was good. My trip was in November, so I had the window closed, but heard no noise from outside. I felt perfectly safe in the area, and walked the 10 minute journey back and forth in the evening to the football/rugby ground. The accommodation was less than 5 minutes walk from Sandal & Aggbrigg rail station, entrance was hassle free, the key code forwarded prior to my arrival. The room was on the second floor, and there was no lift which could be a game changer for some, but the stairs for me were not particularly steep. The room was good, double bed, clean, tv and en suite. There were no toiletries provided, except for soap in the hand basin, but again, not a game changer for me as I had brought my own. Shower was good with plenty of constant hot water. A communal kitchen was next to my room, with tea, coffee and sugar provided, and microwave, toaster, oven and fridge to make your own meals. A convenience store is located literally across the road. A great place for a short stay.
