lovely modern room spotlessly clean, great location in the centre of Waimea so walkable to shops and restaurants. The beds really comfortable and well furnished. Its a really lovely place. outside area for sitting amd wnjoying the views of waimea hills.

It is a lodge/motel, located at an altitude of 800 meters, if i remember correctly. The rooms are very large and really well furnished. My wife and I have dined several times at the house, using the room's kitchen: great experience. I probably had the best sleep in Hawaii on those beds, also thanks to the the fact that in the evening/night in Waimea it gets chillier.

- Spacious room - Fast wifi - Conveniently located in the city center - Not too far and quite centric if you want to visit around (Pololu valley, Hapuna beach and others, Waipio Valley etc...) - Fast and easy check-in Check-out - Good restaurants (or for breakfast) around

The room was large - 2 king beds. The walk-in shower was new and very nice. Towels were fluffy. There was a kitchen with utensils, cookware, coffee maker, hot water maker, dishes, microwave and mini frig. Although, the stove top was cracked and the oven was broken, so we didn't use them. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, drug store and market. Sat farmer's market next door at Parker school was a treat. A couple of years ago we stayed at the ISO on Kauai, another one of Castle properties, that we very much enjoyed so we choose this one on Big Island but they are very different.
