This place is completely fantastic. We came as a group of 4 young English guys and we were made to feel so welcome by the Bedouin hosts. They took us in as one of their own and made sure all our needs were attended to. They are happy to organise any type of tour you like and are extremely responsive through WhatsApp once you make a booking through booking.com. The food they cook is delicious and authentic and included in the very reasonable room rate. I cannot recommend this place more if you want to relax and be at one with nature.

I have visited some Camps already in my life time, but Wadi Rum Galaxy Camp was a highlight on my travels. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming, food (they had also vegan!!) was amazing and I got a free update to a bigger room just for myself. In the evening, when it gets really dark, they prepared an open fire and you were able to get outside, sitting by the fire and enjoying the stars (mind you, at this time it gets quite cold once the sun goes down :)). Highly can recommend a stay, even for longer, because there are a lot of adventures (jeep tour and/or hiking) they offer and you can explore the area.

“Great experience in Wadi Rum in October”

I went there with my family in October and it was a great experience. Haitham came to meet us in Wadi Rum village (where we left our car) and took us to the Bedouin camp. We took a hot shower and then had dinner in the big tent with the Bedouins and other guests. After dinner we talked and danced together. The next day we had a tour in the desert with Omar (our young guide): it was amazing, we saw a lot of rocks and different landscapes and most importantly we had lunch that Omar himself prepared for us outside. He lit a fire and cooked us a typical Bedouin meal! We sand boarded on the dunes and rode camels. We had delicious tea (with sugar of course) that Omar brewed at sunset near the fire. It was an unforgettable experience thanks to the beautiful landscape and the warm welcome of our Bedouin friends. We also learned a lot about how to survive in a hostile land!

First and foremost, if you are planning a vacation in Jordan, make sure to experience the desert. We found this place through booking and communicated with the owner via WhatsApp before leaving. He was very kind and helpful. It was one of the most convenient places to stay. We booked the tour via WhatsApp and did our tour the day after we arrived. Our tour guide, Ahmed, is probably one of the kindest people alive, full of the most loving energy I have ever seen. He is Haitham’s brother. It is a family run business. The rooms are tented. We stayed in a room for three people. It is March, but we did not feel cold. The rooms have electricity. The toilets and showers are shared, but they are newly built, and very clean. Meals are served in a shared tent and you can mingle with other guests. The fireside chats, the dances of all races, and the bong fun were great. Dinner was far above my expectations. The chef, the chef, was very kind, and the breakfast was varied. In short, I was fascinated by the intimacy of the owners, the tranquility of the desert, and the Bedouin life. "I am a complete lover of everything."
