We were travelling with four and stayed in Esperanza hotel for 2 nights. It was absolutely a great stay. I would strongly recommend everybody stay in this hotel. Very clean rooms, hotels smells nice from the moment you enter it. Hotel is situated 2min walk from the entrance to Petra. This makes it easy to make your visit to Petra. Hotel has a roof terrace with mesmerizing view on the mountains. You can enjoy it while eating breakfast or having dinner after long walk in Petra. The sunset on the rooftop is an absolute “must” when you stay here. Last but not least, Rae’s the owner of the hotel gave us a lot of handy tips on how to visit Petra. Equipped with all the do’s and don’ts we avoided many tourists mistakes and saw more than we would normally do. If you search for hotel in Petra Esperanza is the place to stay!

Fantastic location, the reception guy help us with all things that you must know before start to visit Petra. Even he call a taxi for us. The breakfast and the dinner completed a Fantastic stay.

I think this was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been to. the location was absolutely great, only 5 min walk to the Petra visitor center. friendly and helpful staff.
