The location couldn’t have been better. A few minutes walk from the station and the gondola and a short stroll into the town. Lovely views of the lake outside the bedroom window. For breakfast, there was something to suit everyone’s taste. Plenty of areas around to sit and relax and the hotel offered luggage storage at no extra cost.

Excellent services! We missed our flight, so everything has to be rearranged. The hotel staff tried their best to welcome us even we arrived at 3am! The beds are as we requested, the room is big and clean. The breakfast is fantastic. It absolutely calmed us down from the messy beginning start of our holiday and made us really enjoy the rest of our times. Thanks a lot!

Excellent location - only a few mins walk from the train station and easy to get into town. Good breakfast offered. We also had an outstanding meal at Restaurant Élysée - food was wonderful and a very extensive wine list by the glass.

The breakfast was good - lots to choose from as vegetarians. The bedroom was fine - space for luggage. The view was lovely to wake up to - over the fjord.

Christopher at reception was excellent, prompt with answers and proactive in his assistance. Rooms were tidy, restaurant looked nice but I did not dine. I would stay again despite the few down sides, very convenient to the train and bus and 3min walk to town centre.

The hotel is buildup in 3 or 4 buildings, with all different ages. My room was in the east part of the building, it was clean and had a quite new bed, but the rest of the rooms screams the past, all wood is an orange/light brown tint, but noting in the room was broken or dirty. The room also had a small balcony, with an amazing view over the Vangsvatnet fjord. The front balcony wall was a bit broken. They offer a free private parking space behind the hotel, from which you can take the (back?)door of the conference-center part and just walk through the hall to the elevator, that also goes up to the room floors and the reception on the floor above. (or take the stairs up 1 floor for the reception, of course) The choice of breakfast items was really quite huge, including full English and a real coffee/espresso machine. (that was broken on my second morning..)

Lovely location, with room overlooking the lake. Very nice decor on the ground floor, in the bar/restaurant and reception area. Lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming.
