The staff were very friendly and parking was a breeze. Room was simple but comfortable. Great value!

I liked the fact that this property was not crowded, had plenty of parking and it was convenient for a visit in nearby Volterra or decent stay in the area - to be used as a base. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful and always getting out of their way to help. There is decent Wi-Fi throughout. Walking around the facility is decent and has a secluded swimming pool that operates for the guests. We were in the area to attend a Bocelli concert and spend 1-2 days in Volterra and the surrounding area.

Bike & Bed Hotel appears to be a repurposed college in the non-school year. As it was (vertically) a significant distance from Volterra centro, I (and most other cyclists/guests) appreciated that they offered a full dinner and breakfast at the 'hotel'. They also accommodated our cycling need by offering a bike wash stand, repair tools and lube. Very considerate of them.
