Vinci “Castle-like accommodation, but very comfortable”

The castle-like hotel is located in the center of the quiet city and on a higher spot. The internal courtyard looks not only vintage but also elegant. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is superb, with several special dishes with either local character or the royal tradition.

The rooms are big and very clean. The building has an amazing old feel charm but with modern rooms. The hotel is all round clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, had everything for everyone! Staff were wonderful and attentive to the guests needs.

Location is quite good, within walking distance to the historical center, easy access to restaurants, quiet and free parking. Hotel has an outside swimming pool, which isn't huge but it is nice to cool down in those warm days. Breakfast has a good variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean.

The building is really beautiful. The localisation is the best, very central. The staff helpful and nice. Breakfast really good with typical cheese, pastry and bread.

The bed was comfortable. The architecture was perfectly “old world”. The check-in staff were polite and efficient. The gift shop is fabulous with objets d’art ranging from 10€ to 62K €. The restaurant evening meal was delicious though a bit slowly paced at 2 1/2 hours for 3 courses.

The staff were very good and responded to all needs. The location in Viseu is very central. The renovations to the old hospital are outstanding. A big thanks to the reservation team who after an initial difficulty came through with a welcome alternative.

Conveniently situated, aplenty free parking, excellent breakfast as well as spa/sauna facilities. Old hospital beautifully converted into hotel, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay .
