Yennie is an amazing woman that works hard to ensure that everyone that enters her litte piece of paradise is happy and loves staying at her homestay as much as she loves having them there. Yennie has created an oasis of calm in the middle of the Mekong Delta. Everywhere you look is a surprise waiting to be seen. Along with her Mom, Dad and husband they have done a wonderful job of perfecting the art of running a small homestay and is constantly striving to make it better, if that is possible. It is obvious in everything she does. The breakfast was excellent with choices to make everyone happy. We ate several meals there and you could tell fresh, local, quality food is used in all their meals. Yennie has made one of the best websites I have yet to see. Take a picture of the QR code and it opens up to pages of information about what the homestay offers, products used, family, bike paths and information on the area. We are at the end of our trip in Vietnam and the bikes offered were the best maintained in our whole trip. Talking to Yennie the country is in good hands with this new generation of young people that are striving to make Vietnam into a top destination. Loved the recycling bins.

A few steps away from the noisy and busy street you enter in another world! Lovely decorated and silent as it would be in another place. Such a bathroom we have never had, it is worth to see it. Yennie, the host, takes time to speak to you. We enjoyed a tour organized by Yennie: with the bikes and with the boat for 4h trough the country side.

Amazing host and family. Perfect for families and anything you need they’ll sort for you. Recommend a tour with Henry to properly appreciate the area. Great that there are bikes to use as well.

Yennie was a great host and was willing to go the extra mile for us. She had us picked up by her driver within minutes when we got stuck in a huge rain storm. The homestay is comfortable and feels like home. Definitely would recommend the pottery homestay. Yennie was the person that made our stay exceed our expectations.

Yennie is a fantastic host. She goes above and beyond expectations, especially when designing a tour for non-cyclists! The rooms are wonderfully quirky with so many little fantastic design ideas. And the dinners were as good as anything we had in Vietnam.

After visiting four continents and many different countries, it is this little homestay in the heart of Mekong Delta that takes the prize of one of my most unique experiences. Mekong Pottery Homestay is not a big business, but rather, as the name suggests, a small family-run homestay. This allows you to be in a very personalised and attentive environment, but also offers plenty of privacy. If you enjoy culture, plants, gardening, quirky things and pottery (yeah, I didn't know that I love pottery before staying here either) then you are in for a really good treat. I mean, it can't get much cooler than utilising wine bottle as a bathroom tap and watering can as a light! Even if you don't fancy any of these things, surely everyone appreciates clean sheets, a good smelling room, decent Vietnamese breakfast and pro tips on the local area -- this homestay ticks again all the boxes. All in all, it is obvious that Yennie, her mom and the entire family truly love their home and their hometown, which is exactly why they have been able to build such a lovely place. For all the reasons that I have mentioned above and many more, I can't recommend this place enough and would definitely return again.
