The fine print
In accordance with the country's tax legislation, all Chilean citizens and foreigners residing in Chile are required to pay an additional 19% VAT. To be exempt from this, guests must pay the amount of the stay in USD and present a copy of the immigration card and passport. Guests paying in local currency will not be exempt from paying this fee.
In case of no-show at the establishment, the invoice will be issued in local currency and will include the VAT.
VAT is not included in the accommodation rates and must be paid separately.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Staff were lovely, and breakfast was plentiful. The room was small but had everything you needed. I was on the top floor where they had a lovely common area to chill with a TV.
