Main building, reception, living rooms restaurant are located in the historical manor house full of charm . Friendly staff and parking nearby .

The staff were friendly, the food and service in the restaurant was great and mainly full of locals enjoying a family meal. The gardens were well cared for and the decor was authentic. I like the fact there was plenty of parking for guests and visitors.

The room, the view and the surroundings are very nice. The restaurant is fantastic amazing food and very good size of the portions. The wine recommendation was perfect a very nice Douro wine at a very acceptable cost.

Beautiful property. Amazing views. The only bad thing was that the internet was not working. There was a server issue but we were handicapped because of it.

Efficient and friendly staff. Splendid views, lovely gardens well tended. Good free parking. Bedroom: excellent bed, good bathroom. Good and varied breakfast included. Hotel keeps improving the installations, as a very old palace is always difficult to change in a instant.

Beautiful building where we had a spacious comfortable room. A stone's throw from Casa Mateus. Lovely restaurant serving delicious , well presented meals at more than reasonable prices.
