Glorious location, wonderful hosts. The breakfast was amazing. Manuel and Manuela could not do enough for us , and it was an ideal location for visiting the beautiful Douro Valley.

Everything is great here! especially the owners of this house, they are kind people. if you choose a place in this region, don’t even hesitate, this is the best place. beauty, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, silence, close to the city and the river. this place deserves a million hearts!

Manuel and his family were amazing: friendly, hospitable; and helpful!! Felt like we were visiting long lost family. The property was extremely nice, rooms were great (clean, comfortable, well appointed), and the scenery was awesome. Little cool outside to enjoy the pool...but we would have!!

exceptionally friendly staff, always ready to help in any way. they even got us lots of cherries for our kids and went out of their way to arrange for plates and cutleries one evening when we wanted a simple picnic dinner. short drive to vila real (13 mins) so well located in the Douro region. our kids loved it with the swimming pool, hammock and trampoline. they didnt want to go.
