Perfect location, amazing spaces, and accommodating host. Vila Real at Christmas time was lovely. The main square is close by and we were dazzled by the entertainment. Many excellent eateries are within an easy walk.

The impeccable facilities, historical significance, central location and especially - incredible host Paulo, truly set this apartment and stay apart. The rooms are finished with exceptional quality and elegance - and Paulo sews the golden thread with his humble nature and superb storytelling around the history of the town and facilities you find yourself in.

When someone follows a dream - the results are shown. The owner renovated an old post office section creating a four rooms small hotel, with a full common equipped kitchen for all guests to use. Its location in the heart of the town is perfect. We could find paid Street parking Infront of the main gate. Breakfast served with the ingredients we requested.

Casa dos Correios is an an excellent location as it is only a 1 minute walk from the main street of Vila Real and only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, and was exactly as shown on the website. The owner was obliging in letting us check-in early and explained the interesting history of the building. We would certainly stay there if we ever visit Vila Real again.

Paulo loves his quaint hotel and you can tell as soon as you enter. He has put great thought into the theme, bedding, linens, paint colours, decorations, the guest kitchen area, even to the coffee maker. He took the time to greet us personally, help with directions for parking and tell us about a new tourist nature walk blocks from our room.

Lovely small hotel in excellent position. We were able to get a larger room for a little extra. Everything is beautifully appointed, and the history of the building is interesting.

Casa Dos Correios in Vila Real is truly a hidden gem! We stayed here for one night during our wine tour in the Douro region. The place is simply perfect and charming. The rooms are exactly as advertised, if not better. The beds were very comfortable and we had the best sleep here! One of the highlights is how the history of the house, once an old post office, is thoughtfully woven throughout the property. It was fascinating to learn about its past while enjoying such a modern and beautiful space. There is also a local hiking path with a waterfall closeby, which we unfortunately didn't have time to explore. Hope to come back someday! A big thank you to the owner/manager, who was very friendly and helpful :)

Very clean, comfortabel and very friendly and supportive host. Surprisingly quite even it is located in the city centre. We definitely come back!
