This secluded eco-lodge in the Alentejo region boasts an infinity pool with River Mira views. An infra-red mosaic sauna and therapeutic massages are the highlights of its wellness centre.
Rustic styles blend with the latest technology in Herdade Do Freixial’s rooms and apartments. Wooden floors and white stucco walls are combined with flat-screen TVs, blue-ray DVD players and free Wi-Fi.
An extensive buffet breakfast is served each morning in Do Freixial's dining room, which also offers panoramic views of the river valley underneath. In the summer months, light meals are available in the afternoon.
The spa area includes Turkish baths and an outdoor hot tub. Several activities, including yoga classes and quad rides, can be organised upon request. Guests can also rent DVDs at the reception.
The hotel is set within the South West Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, about 2 km from Vila Nova de Milfontes and its Atlantic beaches. Free parking is provided on site.

Lovely peaceful location, with beautiful views of woodland and the river. Close enough to Milfontes but a peaceful retreat.

The staff is very kind, the location is amazing. Breakfast at Herdade do Freixial was wonderful. The quality of the food was very good with breathtaking views of the landscape and river. The room was clean and spacious

I stayed with my husband, brother and sister in law at the Herdade do Freixial ans we loved every second. The staff was very nice and always available to help you. The facilities were amazing, our rooms were fantastic and the swimming pool had a beautiful location. We definitely will go back and recomend the visit and staying.

Reception girl was very helpful. Did arrange dinner reservation in town nearby as recoms for the beaches. Hotels pool area offers nice view into river valley. Room facilities are fresh and solid. Design is tasty. Breakfast wasn't vast of choices, but included pancakes and some sweets. As it is agro place, we could see sheep and shepherd morning ritual just in front of the pool area.
