The location, the atmosphere and coziness of the rooms. Access to a well-equipped common kitchen and kettle in the room. Bathrobes were much appreciated!

Great hospitality in wonderful surroundings. The stay was fabulous. At least if you like nature I can only recommend to stay there. Clean and spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Great breakfast and try the dinner option.

Location was great, in the middle of Gaularfjællet Scenic Road, right next to a river and the waterfall trail. The trail was very nice and easy, and there is opportunity to hike much further. The property was clean and well maintained. It was certainly a unique stay that one would remember. Old buildings, with historic furnishings and many objects from the past. Like a small museum, very relatable and makes you think how the time is flying The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay most comfortable, that is appreciated

We loved the history and location. The room was quiet and comfortable. Dinner was lovely and we also enjoyed hearing about the history of the farm.

Beautifully kept, very clean and well maintained. Authentic country side Scandinavian experience with beautiful scenery and waterfalls / trails surrounding the property — making for easy / relaxed hikes in the Gaularfjellet region. It’s an old farmhouse. So the kitchen and bathroom are detached. That’s a nice to have, but not a major inconvenience.
