Only stayed for one night. Wish we stayed for another, as it was nice and peaceful. Our room had a great view towards Vik church, with a great backdrop of the hills (mountains?). Plenty of places to eat nearby - 5 minutes walk, perhaps. And go out of the door, walk south for 5 minutes and you're on the black sand beech, which is where we saw the Northern Lights for the first time! Great location, and a good place to base yourself if you want to explore the south coast a little. The room was nice enough, and the breakfast was pretty good! We'd go back.

Very nicely located hotel, very close to the beach. Breakfast waffles were good. Room was quite small for the three of us and the new paint smell was claustrophobic at times. If we opened the windows then the room was cold. If we shut the windows and turned on the heater, the smell of paint was choking. When we tried to reach out to the staff on the premises, there were none, the only way to get in touch was via a telephone near the main entrance. Fortunately, it wore off after the 1st uncomfortable night.

Great location and simple, well communicated check in and out procedure. The room was spacious, all the basics were provided and the beds were super comfy. For accommodation that assumes you will be out exploring, it's a good base.

Nice stay at Vik Inn. Received a very comprehensive message in advance of arriving with all the details on how to check in (pin code for the room to self check in) which was very convenient. Plenty of parking outside. Convenient location in Vik, in walking distance to restaurants, and not far from 1 road. Also close to the Black Sand Beach. Room was a good size, nice bathroom, clean and comfortable (TV didn't seem to have any channels tuned in). Decent breakfast included. Only negative was cost - it's expensive for what it is. That seemed to be the case across the board in Iceland though.

We had a wonderful stay at Vik Inn Hotel. Spotlessly clean room with spacious bathroom. Unlimited coffee and tea in the room. Delicious and rich breakfast. Really easy check in. Definitely recommend it.

Basic rooms close to the centre of Vik. Clean and tidy. It’s cheap and the breakfast was fresh and replenished regularly
