Buxworth “Fantastically appointed and comfortable apartment”
Fantastic apartment. Spacious rooms and layout. The self catering facilities, hob, oven, fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine were excellent, although there is no microwave. The bedroom was large and the bed massive. The bathroom was spotless when I arrived and everything required as it hand. The view from the small balcony is really nice, overlooking the start of the Amalfi coast but it does get very hot by early afternoon. There are blinds and electric shutters to counteract this. The lounge/dining and breakfast bar area were nice and well appointed with plenty of plates, cutlery and glasses etc to hand. The owners are clearly very proud of the design and decor and in my opinion rightly so. I will happily return. My only suggestion for the owners is that they provide a laminated info sheet for future guests pointing out the nearest location of shops and facilities e.g location of the bus stop to the Amalfi coast resorts and the useful lift up and down from the nearby Station between Salerno and Napoli. As it has self catering facilities it would be good to have ready access to the location of the nearest bakery, grocery, green grocers, fish mongers and butchers for example. I knew that I only had to contact the owners to find out but it would be preferable to have this info to hand at the start. I came home one afternoon to discover for instance that the fishmonger was actually right next door. They were packing up as I arrived but I would never have known otherwise and had tried to locate a source of local fish during my stay. I made a list of this useful information and would be happy to provide an e-copy in English if the owners want it. Otherwise the place is excellent

A beautiful apartment with a beautiful view of the costal cliffs surrounding Vietri from it’s balcony! The interior is super nice too and it’s fully equipped with everything you need. The location is great - right in the heart of town and about 5 minutes walk to the train station and ten to beach.
