Absolutely gorgeous hotel , the bed was so comfortable and the roof top pool was amazing . We tried everything on the menu over our 5 days and it was delicious. Staff on reception were very helpful printing out our visa for Cambodia and always happy to help . Roof top bar staff were very good too . It is beautifully designed . Taxi from the airport is just 7.5 dollars from the airport. Tip if you come out of the hotel turn left there is a street currently all dig up but there is a decent coffee shop , night market and bar at the crossroads turn left .

I had a lovely experience at the Lao Poet Hotel. I really appreciated the elegant interior design, as well as the courtesy and kindness of the team. The menu was decent, but a few more options would make it even better.

Really smart, clean, comfy bed, located just off a main road but right in the middle of the “touristy” area walking distance to bother the night market and the food night market. Roof pool really nice for if you just want to chill out for the day in what is an otherwise peaceful city.

“Great stopover hotel in Vientiane”

We had a 24 hour stop in Vientiane on our way from Luang Prabang to Bangkok (via the overnight sleeper) and the hotel was perfect. Good location, staff arranged taxis for us, great rooftop restaurant and pool. Would highly recommend.
