Location, clean, extra large bed, good bathroom, room cleaning, laundry and helpful staff. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace outside in the evening, watching the world go by. 2 doors up, enjoyed Treekoff for coffee and Tony's hairdresser did a great job on my hair.

The rooms are much larger than those in newer hotels and reasonably equipped. However, I stayed during a period of severe air pollution brought by east winds. As in most hotels in Vientiane, the doors were not adequately sealed, which is the minimum requirement to protect against air pollution. The pollution inside was as bad as outside (measured with Atmotube). Once the doors and windows are sealed (with inexpensive foam tape), an additional step would be to equip rooms with air purifiers. The room was clean. The staff on the first floor was very busy with smartphones and ignored me each time I came in or went out, except once when I loudly said "ສະບາຍດີ" (hello) when coming back in the evening!

I loved the decor of this hotel. The staff were super helpful prior to arrival and also during my stay. They organised an airport pick up and also a train ticket for my onward travel. The room was a large room with a loft and was very clean and comfortable. There was a kitchenette and large bathroom. I was on the 5th floor which was quite a climb each time (no lift) but I enjoy keeping fit so I did not mind. If you have mobility issues you may need to request a room on lower floor. The staff helped with my luggage on check in and check out so that was great. Location was great with easy walk to the night markets and shops and restaurants close by.
