Hotel Josefine is just as beautiful in person as the photos. We had such a delightful stay here - from the large, comfy bed to the bottle of red wine on arrival, this is a perfect place to stay for couples in Vienna. There is a large record collection and listening room to enjoy, along with a classy cocktail bar which doubles as the delightful breakfast room (serving up lots of mouth-watering options). Modern bathroom fittings juxtapose the vintage tile options in the shower, with two shower heads to enjoy. Walking out the front door you are only metres away from one of the longest shopping streets in Europe. Sensational place for a Viennese getaway.

The hotel was absolutely lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal. We went for my 30th birthday celebration and the hotel made sure to sent some champagne with our breakfast the day of which was so kind of them. This was on top of the bottle of wine they gift each guest with at the beginning of their stay. It was clear that they also take into account all reviews and feedback - we read before we went that some people struggled with the light switches and using the phone of the room so the hotel prepared a room guide that hands to all guests. The hotel also gave us a guide on where to eat, shop, have coffee, and what to visit if we only had a day in Vienna. We tried most of their recommendations and exceeded expectations. They even provided us with free umbrellas when the weather was poor and these little touches make this affortable hotel feel very special. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so lovely.

The location is convenient for the U-bahn and only a few stops to the centre. Breakfast is great, lots of choice and all really well prepared. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Having a proper coffee maker available when you come in is really nice.

The service, staff, the care you've been given is amazing! Especially, the staff made me feel really welcome, the breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and it was fresh. The hotel room exceeds all the expectations, it's clean, decorated smartly. I stayed only one night but I really didn't want to leave, it was such a treat with a bottle of wine as a gift from the hotel. The hotel concept is brilliant, it makes you time travel for sure!

Hotel Josefine was everything we hoped for and more. The most beautiful hotel, with the most thoughtful touches that really made this stay magical and unique. We can't wait to come back! The location is also perfect for exploring the city, without being in the bustle of the tourist-lined centre. Every staff member was also lovely and this was honestly one of the best stays we have had. Thank you!

The property was stunning - beautifully decorated in a 1920s style but with all the comforts of modern living. The attention to small detail throughout was amazing. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Good central location for visiting central Vienna - close to metro - 3 mins - perfect …

The stuff, the location, the decoration- perfect! The location couldn't be better. The breakfast was just perfect and delicious with plenty of options, a la cart style, not a buffet. 100% of the employees were kind and helpful. There is a lounge with free coffee and tea all day long.
