Hotel Overview

Vienna Sporthotel is set in a quiet neighbourhood in Vienna's 3rd district, with easy access to the A4 and A23 motorways and only a 5-minute underground train ride from the city centre, offering an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a spa area. Free WiFi is available and an underground car park with charging station for e-cars is featured.
All spacious and air-conditioned rooms come with a minibar, a work desk and flat-screen satellite TV with free pay TV channels.
Vienna Sporthotel features a solar-heated outdoor pool (open from May to September), 10 tennis courts (also open from May to September) and a fitness centre and guests can use all free of charge. The spa area is a good place to unwind after a busy day.
The Sporthotel also has a restaurant serving international and Italian cuisine, as well as a bar in the lobby. In nice weather, guests can dine outside on the restaurant's terrace.
The Schlachthausgasse Underground Station (line U3) can be reached in a 5-minute walk, providing direct connections to the centre. It is a 5-minute walk to the Media Quarter Marx, and just a 2-minute walk to the TownTown Business Park.

Big rooms, very comfortable bed. In breakfast you'll find the filter coffee, not only espressos, not very common to find it in Europe but here you have it. The shower is big so you can easily fit in, the pression of the water is also good in the sink and acceptable in the shower. The parking cost extra but is covered and you can charge your electric car at pretty high speed.

The staff was excellent and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the Swimming pool and sauna were magnificent and relaxing, and the Location was perfect, near the tram and subway.

We have liked dinner service, food was OK, not excellent, but rather good quality. We have asked for a litlle speciality for the second dinner, it was prepared like requested. Staff has been friendly and service has been fast.

Location was good as it says 5 minutes from metro and only a few minutes into the city. Hotel was very inviting and staff were very polite and attentive.
