The Schlosshotel Römischer Kaiser is one of Vienna's most traditional hotels, offering an ideal city centre location in a quiet side street of Kärntner Straße. The Karlsplatz Underground Station (lines U4, U1, U2) can be reached within a 5-minute walk.
Built in 1684 and family-owned since 1904, this small baroque palace is only a few minutes’ walk from the State Opera, the Hofburg Imperial Palace and St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
All rooms at the Schlosshotel Römischer Kaiser are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a laptop-sized safe and a minibar. Coffee is also available in the lobby, 24 hours a day.

Lovely big room, clean, tidy and comfortable. Hotel located just off main shopping street. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good. Couldn't find a fault.

The hotel is superbly located within walking distance of the Opera house and Museum Quarter. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished. The breakfast was delicious with excellent choice each day and all staff member were super friendly and helpful
