“great experience at the wonderful quinta de cavelos”

we can truly say, this was our best experience and stay during our roundtrip in the wonderful countryside of northportugal. from the first moment until the check out we loved this place. the quinta is very well maintained and shows you alot of aspects of traditional life of portguese people. breakfast is fantastic, views are fantastic , the room is fantastic, the comfort is fantastic, things do in this area is fantastic and at least - paula, the management and the whole staff are among the friendliest people we met and they are fantastic. to have the great experience of original traditonal life and people is the best things you can earn when you travel. we hope to comeback to the quinta do cavelos, if you have the chance to go there do not miss your chance. thank you again for everything and greetings to the wonderful people of quinta de cavelos eberhard and monika

Loved loved the place. Amazing views from the bedroom of the mountains and the rivers. We had the king suite with balcony (worth the extra €€) comfy bed and bed linen. Spacious and bright bedroom. The breakfast was amazing. Very good choice of savoury home made cakes jams local honey fruits etc…. again with amazing views over looking the mountains and river. The two ladies that run the place are very special always smiley and kind. Fatima was so sweet and lovely. They don’t really speak English but it’s ok we understood each other. The environment of the place is super quiet and peaceful. The actual Quinta is an old wine estate full of charm and beautiful old. There is also a lovely pool area which you can relax by. Let’s not forgot the friendly Labrador who welcomes you with a tail wagging !!
