We had an incredible at Shongwe! From the delicious meals (we’ve been raving ever since), incredibly kind service from the team, and we would like to extend a special thank you to Paima at the front desk for helping us plan an afternoon we’ll remember for a lifetime.

The first night we were at the Shongwe Lookout and the place is beautiful but sadly we couldn't sleep because in the room next door there were shouting/fighting/crying kids. For a wedding anniversary holiday it wasn't the best. The day afterwards the management reacted immediately and placed us in the Shongwe Oasis which is the sister lodge right next door WITH NO KIDS allowed. We truly appreciate that otherwise our trip would have been a nightmare. The personal is exceptional and we loved the fact we could use the Bamba bikes for free for 24h because we had booked 4 nights (that's the actual promotion so not sure how long it will last). We LOVED using those electric bikes in the city and could even go to Zambia with those! The lodge is also close to the falls... honestly we did it in a comfy walk and it took us 15 to 20' in a lovely walk. It's extremely safe too. The shuttle from and to the hotel was perfectly organised too.

Super friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast choice. Extremely helpful with organising of tours and taxis. Good size room with comfy bed. Lovely lookout tower for evening cocktails. Lovely pool. Use of sister hotel next door for Spa facilities. Great location for Victoria Falls visit.

It’s an amazing place with a nice garden, pool and a lookout which you can use for your sundowner drinks. Especially the people working there are amazing and so helpful…it’s really a pleasure to stay there for some days. Big „thank you“ to Shalom at the reception…she is amazing and she booked all our trips and gave us amazing good advises (helicopter, dinner cruise, e-bikes,…). We had a perfect stay at the VicFalls and enjoyed every day. Thanks so much to everybody again… :-)
