The house is wonderfully decorated. Warm and welcoming. We were happily on the top floor but be aware that if your bags are big and heavy the stair case in narrow and windy. Breakfast of croissants and eggs very good. I recommend leaving out the chips/fries. Coffee good and plentiful. Good assortment of juice and jams.

Spotless room, loo and bed. Cordial housekeeping staff and host/s. Comfy bed. Plenty of towels. Nice view from the room’s window. Close to bus stops.

Great location, CraigDarroch Castle right behind it. Clean room and washroom. Comfortable bed, just a little noisy when getting up. Shower was good, but it took several minutes to heat up. The coffee was good and appreciated. The staff was nice, even though we were getting our coffee when they were cleaning. We loved the floors without carpet and were happy to take off our shoes to keep it clean.

The house has for sure character as it is over 100 years old. It feels more like a hostel or B&B. It is great that you can cook there if you want and you can also use the cutlery. It is a quiet neighborhood.
