“Absolutely wonderful place.”

It’s a very unique place, and we liked everything about it, especially amazing dinners and breakfast in the kitchen with original 17th century tiles on the wall. The apartment was exceptional.

“Magical place overlooking the Amalfi coast”
27 Oct 2024
Mamma mia, we are back from Villa Giusso and I simply can't take it out from my mind and heart. This place is a completely magical blend of history, charm, nature, beauty and hospitality. Who would believe that in the middle of the posh area of Amalfi coast, with its glitter and excitement, reigns on the hill a place of miracle and peace? The old world looks with indulgence at the new world unfolding at its feet. Everything is unique at Villa Giusso: the old monastery with a rich history, the owners story, once one of the richest and noble families of Napoli, the location watching over the golf and the Vesuvius, the greenery of the domain with the healing olive trees, the little pool seated almost up in the skies, with a breathtaking view, the original majolica tiles kitchen, the absolutely interesting museum in the attic's and not last, the special rooms furnished with many original but comfortable pieces of antique furniture. Every evening the dinner in the old kitchen, together with the italian family and the other guests was a delight. The ladies from the village cooked us delicious italian dishes, with fresh ingredients from the farm belonging to the Masseria. We were lucky to share the place with two lovely German families with whom we instantly clicked and spend joyful meals and after drinks plus an extraordinary domain walk. We hope to meet them again in Germany or Romania. The place is a true wonder but the condiment giving the aroma is Mrs Erminia, one of the two owning sisters, who took care of us. Rarely I meet somebody so attentive to its guests, she immediately feels if you need something and gracefully finds a solution. I still have her beautiful and cheerful laugh in my head as I see her leading us through the olive trees like a fairy spreading around joy and energy. You can see she is a genuine and caring person.

“Like a fairytale”

The place is like absolutely beautiful and the owners are incredible people! Our flight was very late so they were waiting for us until late at night! We were so lucky to stay in that place! I recommend it 100%!

“Amazing place for relaxing family vacation. Great views of Vesuvio and Capri.”

This beautiful and warm family-run agriturismo exceeded all of our expectations. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Cozy breakfast around the kitchen table. Relaxing pool. Beautiful views for the aperitivo and dinner. Will visit again.

“Stunning hilltop estate with incredible views.”
26 Aug 2024
It is a spacious former hilltop monastery with some catered rooms, while we stayed in a comfortable self-catering apartment with its own kitchen. It is a beautiful estate often used for weddings and offers spectacular views of the bay of Naples, Vesuvius, Ischia, and the sunsets are unmatched. The owners have revived it from semi-abandonment to a stunning place for guests, with olive groves, play areas, swimming pool, chef-prepared delicious dinners overlooking the bay, and an option for a pizza masterclass using their ancient oven. They have a clear love for the place and are happy to share its rich history, from monks to royalty and Nobel prize winners.

Gorgeous location and real estate. Amazing food. Takes you back in time

“Beautiful property, romantic atmosphere and views, high above the coast.”
20 Jun 2024
Remote and peaceful, such a contrast to the nearby coast. Beautiful historic property, views and big grounds, friendly staff with well judged tips on how to fill your days. Definitely try the breakfast and evening meal, hosted in the enchanting old kitchen, for the delicious home grown food and atmosphere. It is an adventurous drive up the hill, a long way up very narrow winding roads. So a car is essential and you won’t want to add any unnecessary trips out, but once you’ve arrived the romantic ambience and spectacular Bay of Naples views are a fitting reward for the effort.

“Wonderful place with loads of character”
31 May 2024
The views were fantastic. The property grounds were extensive with a good mix of nature and manicured gardens. The staff (I think most of them were family members ), especially Giovanna very helpful and just a phone call away. We just had breakfast which was fabulous. They even catered to our dietary restrictions extremely well. Overall got a truly authentic italian feel
