This hotel surprised us. It used to be one of the mansions of Vichy so the rooms were big and luxurious. It was right opposite the Opera House and the walkway to the spa and to the riverside park.

We had a good breakfast, the only disappointment was that we went thru fabulous light glamorous rooms all set up for meals to a horrid, small room at the back of the hotel with a terrible decor and even worse carpet to have breakfast….. why?

Clean, comfortable and well- located hotel. We had a room on the 6th floor with a view south over the river. Staff were very helpful.

A lovely place with an old-fashioned vibe. We had a large and comfortable room, with a big bathroom. It is however a little bit frayed at the edges; if you are looking for a modern chrome and glass style this is not the place for you…
