This very special property is located on the outskirts of the town of Viana del Castelo up against the wooded hillside. It feels like you are in the countryside - the grounds are spacious and full of surprises to explore. It’s incredibly historic and has been in the same family since the 1500’s. The pool is amazing and the food is top class. We stayed in one of the older rooms - very comfortable with everything you could need. Walking distance to beach and a river with rock pools to swim in just over the wall. Heaven.
