Situated 700 metres from the city centre, the recently renovated Hotel do Parque offers a panoramic breakfast restaurant with views of the Lima River. Located within the Viana do Castelo Park and within the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route, it has a large outdoor swimming pool.

I loved the location. Very central to everything but not in the middle of the hustle. Loved being able to get a coffee when I wanted from the Nespresso machine in the lobby. The gentleman staff member at night was super kind and very helpful.

Stayed here because of the pool and the jacuzzi but both were freezing! Managed to have a swim but jacuzzi was too cold. Breakfast was lovely while enjoying the stunning views.

Lovely pool. Lovely room. Great location. Loads of shops and restaurants a short walk away. We arrived early and they let us use the pool before we had checked in.
