like always in portugal the people and the host are very nice to help you out and make you feel welcome. everything is organized the house is well maintained and you have alot of space to explore. countryside is mostly the real experience to know something personal about portguese people and we had all the time a good travelling feeling. diaz house is a perfect place close to the beaches and to viana do castelo and all the hiking path thank you eberhard and monika

The host was super friendly and helpful! Even there was a language barrier, we managed how to communicate. And breakfast was just amazing: fresh bread, ham and cheese, butter and jam, coffee, milk, juice. Simply a gem for pilgrims!

The rooms were spacoius and clean, beds were really comfortable. There is a kitchen and fridge, you can buy cold drinks. The breakfast was a feast.

Large well equipped kitchen and separate lounge/dining area. Outside seating. Bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. Host was lovely and the breakfast was good.

Beautiful hosts and excellent breakfast!! Despite language differences we communicated well. We were given a lift into Viana do Castile when we couldn’t get a taxi!!!

The breakfast was nice, all fresh ingredients (bread, croissant, local ham and cheese, jams etc and also coffee and multiple juices. The location is very pretty, in the hills next to a (very small) town. My room had a balcony and a large bed. The shared bathroom was also good, definitely not a dealbreaker!

This family run guest house was amazing. It is an oasis of tranquillity! I was greeted warmly with coffee and a croissant with cheese. My room was spacious and on the ground floor with the bathroom just next door. Everything was clean and the bathroom was modern with a nice shower. Breakfast was included but unfortunately I had to leave early as I had a long walk ahead. The host kindly did my laundry for me, such a lovely lady. The house is situated a little off the Camino but you will really miss out if you don't stay here. I spent the afternoon relaxing in the lovely garden.

Omg! This is a local house, with an amazing view. Very quiet and peaceful! The host is amazing, the breakfast was great! I had such a great time there! It was magical!
