A beautiful old farmhouse with lovely gardens, right on the Camino (for those doing the walk). Cecilia is very welcoming and happy to share with you lots of knowledge of the local area. The room was beautifully presented.

The hosts are extremely nice and forthcoming. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Generous breakfast. Ideal position on the Camino portugues. Highly recommended

I only spent one night at this hotel, , but very much enjoyed my short time here. An enchanting house steeped in family history with beautiful gardens. A very cosy communal living room where Cecília provided me and some weary pilgrims with delicious comforting soup, and a very good breakfast in the morning. The location is great: a few minutes from beaches, very close to the lovely city of Viana do Castelo, and right on the Caminho de Santiago. A real sanctuary.

Casa da Reina is set within its own grounds, we were met by Cecelia the owner who showed us to our room. The room itself was large and well appointed with good facilities. Breakfast was very good and included in the room price. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing.

Very good communication and helpful. Lovely room and gardens are beautiful. We had hoped to get some food when we arrived as we had read that others had done so but there was a village fiesta and that seems to have made things difficult

The property is literally on the Camino walk so it is brilliantly located. The swimming pool was a lovely facility to have after the days walking and the pounders were welcome to laze on and dry off in the sun. The garden is lovely and the ability to buy the estate’s wine on site was also great. We managed to have a home cooked supper made by Cecelia, as another walking group had preordered supper when they booked. Breakfast is also great.

This property is AMAZING and such an authentic stay on the camino. We arrived after a long 20 mile walk and were greeted with the most beautiful property we could have imagined. The pool was delightful for our sore feet, the breakfast was wonderful and the beds and showers were amazing. We couldn't have picked a better accommodation. We were also able to eat a lovely dinner at a restaurant just a short walk away.
