The owner is really friendly and helpful. Room had everything I needed and was a good size. It's a family-run place but the room wasn't dated or shabby at all. Lots of chairs, which came in handy for drying my clothes after I got caught in the rain. Good location, 5 minutes from the old town. Breakfast was generous, tasty and pleasingly eclectic (cauliflower, Jaffa cakes). The front door is always locked, but the back door is open and there's usually someone around, even before check-in time. Overall, very good value and better than some more expensive places I stayed in in Latvia. I slept great, too.

spotless little hotel in a much overlooked town - a formerly “closed” town in the sovyet era for reasons of Fantastic place to explore the region, which has a national park, a castle, beaches, a Unesco listed town @1/2 hr drive.

Breakfast was very good and cosy, personal tables with food in small dining room. For 3 people we got 2 rooms for 1 night for about 86 Eur with breakfast. We stay here quite frequent, stable quality and clean rooms.

Great stay, super nice staff and very friendly. The breakfast was also great. Room was clean and tidy. The location is very central so everything is reachable by walking. Would recommend.

The hotel is located on the main street of the city, you can walk to the pier, the old town and the beach. The hotel itself is very nice and cozy, the hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. We recommend this place for a holiday!

Good location, very close to "Bērnu pilsētiņa", which we found to be the best thing about our stay in Ventspils. Breakfast was quite good. Staff is pleasant.
