Serra “Overpriced stay with inadequate lobby staff”

First of all, when they asked our arrival time, we thought they would help us with early check-in, but that was not the case. When we arrived, the room was not ready, although there was a misunderstanding, it is understandable. We went to eat while the room was ready and they told us that our luggage would be in our room when we arrived at 14:00. We went to the hotel at 14:30, they had an extra half hour but they made us wait in the lobby. We told the gentleman at the reception that we only had 1 day here, that we could find our room ourselves and that we did not need someone to go up to the room. After some insistence, he took us to our room but our luggage was still not there. The luggage arrived 10 minutes later. From the moment we entered the hotel, we said that we only had 1 day here and that we were in a hurry and that we arrived after the check-in time, but they kept us waiting for a long time. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very spacious. The location is very close to the train station but far from what we could call the city center and transportation is either a 25-minute walk or an expensive ferry. Especially if you go for one day, the ferry round trip is 25€ per person. There are very few options for breakfast and everything was cold. The lobby staff is sullen and very snobbish but the other staff are very friendly. The price is a bit high for the service they provide, especially considering the location.

It was perfect option to stay in Venice. New hotel with good facilities. Some of rooms has a huge terrace. Good value for money. Good accessibility from the parking lot.

Location is great, close to the main vaporeto station as well as the train and bus station. Main attractions can be reached by foot in an extended but pleasant walk and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in the area. Rooms are spacious and look really nice, good taste for the decorations and design. Quality breakfast. The staff in breakfast area was kind and welcoming.

Great location, just a short walk from the station. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were always courteous, smiling, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying here again!

Nice big room and very clean Everything like in the room look brand new The bathroom was very clean new and nice Staff was awesome friendly And recommend us for a nice local restaurant with great sunset and river view and not crowded with tourists and the food was amazing Highly recommended hotel to stay for venice trip And the breakfast was great also

The location and value for money. The hotel is located near the entrance of venice and you can walk anywhere.

Great size room and great price for 3 nights for 2 people! Had a little trouble with the door closing but the staff were so helpful and were straight on fixing the problem, even offered to change rooms for us if we wanted. Very friendly and always polite. Lovely hotel and genuinely can't fault the location!! Next to a shop which is handy and only 2 mins from the train station. Would definitely recommend!!
