Anna and Emiliou welcomed us warmly, helped us with our luggage and explained everything in our room like the air conditioning. Our room was bigger than expected and very quiet, overlooking the canal and was lovely and clean. Our bed was comfortable. And the air con worked beautifully and was very quiet at night.Anna’s breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice of cereal, fruit, fruit juice and very fresh and delicious bread, croissants and pastries from the local bakery. We could not fault our stay, which was extra special by Anna and Emiliou’s warmth and friendliness.

What is there not to like about this charming locanda? First and foremost the wonderful hosts Anna and Emiliano. They give you the best advise and tips without being intrusive. They serve a great Italian breakfast (pastry!). The locanda is situated on the Campo del Ghetto in the centre of the old jewish quarter, away from from the touristic hustle and bustle. From our room on the first floor we could watch the parents play with their children. A few steps away, on a small canal there are plenty good places to eat.

Everything! Staff, location, rooms and facilities, there was literally nothing to fault. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and felt more family than guest.

It was in a quiet corner of Venice, close to shops, restaurants, station and vaporetto stops. Emiliano and his wife were most welcoming, kind and helpful to the extent of helping us over the bridge with our suitcases as we were walking to the station. The breakfast was varied, healthy and very tasty - and even supplied us with Oat milk. Everywhere was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Elegant fittings and decor, good size room, super nice owners and good breakfast. Great situation, easy walk from St Lucia station, in the old Jewish Ghetto area, which is now super funky with dozens of great bars and restaurants.
