Excellent location, just a very short walk from the water taxi stop. About 15 mins to St Mark's Square and the Rialto. Many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Lovely small hotel with a few rooms and cute garden. Friendly staff who were helpful and 2 gorgeous cats! The breakfast was good and they made us fresh, strong, cappuccinos, which is a big plus from me! The room was small and smelt slightly damp. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot and strong, although we did have a minor leakage from the shower basin across the bathroom floor and into the bedroom, which was not great. The room was quiet and OK for an overnight stay but one of the bedside lights was not working and there was a distinct lack of plug sockets, which meant you had to choose between charging your phone and using a bedside lamp or the TV, for instance, which again is really not ideal. Other than that, I would say it's a lovely hotel and I would stay there again in similar circumstances.

We stayed here mostly because we had an early 5.30am boat transfer to the airport and it was absolutely perfectly located. Additionally the staff member we met was lovely and the garden delightful. And there was an exceptionally good restaurant for dinner round the corner!
