The rooms were comfortable and very quiet. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We use Hotel Canaletto whenever we visit Venice, as we are always made to feel at home . There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and we were able to walk to all major places of interest.

The hotel was well maintained, tastefully decorated and furnished in a classical style, with luxurious fabrics, prints of paintings and Murano glass light fittings/chandeliers. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of types, including continental, pastries, cakes and scrambled eggs and bacon. Barista-style coffee was available on request. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we didn't feel rushed at all. The location was very good, being quiet but only about 5 minutes walk from the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Square, shops and other attractions. We took a private water taxi from the airport and it was able to drop us off less than 200 metres from the hotel.

The hotel was wonderful- great location, very friendly staff who went over and beyond to help us. Breakfast was plentiful and barista coffees in the morning exceeded my expectations. Lovely restaurant right next door with great staff and very reasonable prices too
