We spent four nights at Da Irene, and it exceeded our expectations. The house was clean—while not everything was brand new, everything was in good working order. After reading some reviews, we had a few concerns, but we did not experience any of the issues mentioned. We have traveled extensively and met many hosts, but Claudio, the owner of the property, truly stands out as exceptionally kind and caring. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and given a detailed overview of the area, including Venice. Claudio provided helpful information on transportation options, nearby grocery stores, and dining recommendations. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again if we return to the area. The neighborhood felt safe, with a tram stop to Venice just a few minutes away on foot and a Coop grocery store within a 10-minute walk. Parking next to the house was spacious enough to accommodate a large car.
