The hotel was very generous and upgraded our room. We had a reservation for one night in a superior room. I think the main extra feature on the upgrade was a bath and a first floor location at the front of the property. This in fact was noisy I’d like us you sleep with the windows open. I loved the fact you have available tea and coffee facilities on every floor.

Most of their staff were very friendly and hospitable. The reception waited outside the hotel to look out for us as our arrival was past midnite. The housekeeping attendant was a gentleman from the Philippines and he was excellent.

Quiet location but still a short walk into the more busy part of Venice. 10 mins walk tops.
