Location location location!! And the host Camilla is a super host. She made sure we have everything we mast need and even came to collect us at the Realto stop. She went above and beyond to make it a great stay for us! Some reviews state that the bathroom is in bad shape but it’s seems to have been renovated and it was definitely workable!

From getting off at Rialto to coming home, everything was amazing. If you are looking for 5 star, posh, tv's in every room, not that you need a tv as you should be out everyday soaking up the beauty of Venice, then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for traditional, welcoming, comfortable and clean this is the place. The apartment was great, and Camilla the host kept in touch with me from before leaving the Uk to going home. Even a bottle of prosecco and pastries were there for us as a welcome gift. You do have free wifi, best place is at the back to get a good signal, but again why complain you just have to go to the back. It is a very quirky apartment, a plaque on the floor says 1855! but you are less than one minute away from Rialto bridge! and a 5 minute walk to St Marks Square. Yes the bathroom is near the back and you do have to pass the bed of who sleeps back there to get to it, but it was no concern to us as we all know each other, so complaining about that to me is silly. Everything was perfect and we all got to enjoy Carnivale. And from the double bedroom you can open the window to your very own canal and see the gondola passing by. The bathroom was clean and hairdryer worked in there. Towels were also laid out for us all. Truly an amazing place to stay just don't be too picky on what is a gorgeous traditional place to stop in Venice.

Camilla is a wonderful host - she met us on arrival to hand over the keys and show us around the flat, and kept in touch throughout our stay. She made us feel very welcome and even prepared a few little surprises (fresh biscuits from a local bakery, coffee, tea, some snacks). The flat is perfect - spacious, cosy, clean, well-equipped, centrally located, close to public transport, amenities (e.g. supermarket) and major cultural sites, but also very quiet at night.

Very good position, just few meter from rialto and san marco. Kitchen facilities spear us lots of money.... Supermarket very closed by with normal prices... Make this location ideal if you travelling with kids.

Location is perfect for visit to all sites in Venice by walking around. Realto bridge is 4 mins and St Marks square about 8 mins. Nice restraunts for food lovers
