As usual the guest house met all my requirements, close to most, of not all, VT has to offer with a restaurant below that serves very tasty food.

I am completely in awe of it. It is necessary to visit this town for two days with a night, and if to stay in Veliko Tarnovo for the night, then only here. First, the best location imaginable. For sightseeing in this city necessary two days, and also it is necessary to visit the Sound and Light show, there is no point in coming without visiting this event, it is absolutely fantastic. But this show goes on late in the evening, so it's too late to leave back to another city, you need to spend the night somewhere. And it is desirable that the hotel is nearby, not to go far at night. This guest house is located right next to the the multimedia center, where there is an observation terrace to look for the show. The main landmark -ancient Tsarevets fortress, also next to the hotel, all the museums are nearby, and the whole beautiful historical city center starts right from here. The second advantage of this guest house is that it is located in an old historical building, and similar to a museum and an art gallery, with antique furniture in the room, such as is in historical museums, and lots of pictures everywhere - on staircase, in hall and in the room. This makes unusual and very romantic atmosphere, which is better and cost more than expensive pompous hotels. And all this only for 40 bgn = 20 euro! On the first floor is a restaurant, which is so originally and romantic decorated, that I have never seen. And food is good. The shower and toilet were shared on the floor, but they are located directly opposite the living rooms, while there are only 4 rooms, and 3 showers with toilets, so it is practically the same as having a shower and toilet in the room. Everything was clean and in perfect order. The room is also clean, the beds and bed linen are good. The room is spacious, with two beds. Personal knows English and very helpfull.
