Hotel Overview

The emblematic "Tsarevets Design and Spa and SPA" is a small boutique hotel, located only 10 meters from the remarkable fortress Tsarevets. From this place once the kings of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom enjoyed the beauty and grandeur of their achievements. The hotel building is a restored and reconstructed old town house, built in 1891, which has undergone many famous historical events. Available limited free private parking spaces, which can not be reserved.
The elegantly renovated building houses a luxurious hotel with a staircase of yellow sandstone leading to 3 elegant and charming floors with invitingly decorated rooms. They feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, free WiFi and a minibar, available upon surcharge. The spacious, bright bathrooms have invigorating showers.
The Tsaravets Fortress is a significant architectural and historical landmark, where a popular Lights and Sound audio-visual show takes place. Veliko Tarnovo centre is only 200 metres away.

I had a really great time! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the SPA, it was really warm and i spent most of my time there. The breakfast was super tasty, they also have coffee and various fruit juices! Very great and luxurious hotel👌

Hidden gem in the heart of Veliko Tarnovo. They are very professional and responsible in this hotel, I felt truly pampered throughout my whole stay. I loved the massages they offered. They have a very high standard of cleanliness and service. Thank you

extremely kind and very well-trained staff. Smiling and always available. I can't help but mention the extremely modern furnishings in this hotel. The room, reception, restaurant, SPA Center, elevator, even the common areas make a strong impression on every connoisseur. For me, this small hotel is a mini version of a five-star hotel. I read a lot before booking and I can boldly say that this place is great for relaxation, rest and walking to all the sights within walking distance. You park your car in the parking lot in front of the hotel and you don't need it anymore. The room with a view of Tsarevets Fortress, clean, well-smelling, music in the bathroom and all the necessary accessories in it for our stay. Regular cleaning and attention to the small details. A small spa center, but with everything you need in it, very clean and romantic. I have no complaints about the breakfast and coffee. Thank you for the time spent with you. We will visit you again.

Excellent location with parking lot. There are several options for restaurants and shops nearby. Also, the Main Street was just in 5 min walking throughout the beauty of the Old Town. Despite the historical area, the hotel was a modern and luxurious place. We loved it! There were all the facilities You can expect from four-star hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They totally made us feel cozier and more comfortable. Very good organisation for the breakfast and the food was just perfect. We plan to visit again but during a warmer season.

A wonderful small designer hotel within walking distance of all the city's attractions. I booked this place because, in addition to the mass offer in most places in the city "bed and breakfast", here the price includes free parking in front of the hotel, a SPA Center where you can take advantage of a pool, jacuzzi, relaxation area, cold shower, steam bath, sauna, hot foot baths. Romantic atmosphere with light and relaxing music. Stylish furnishings. We were surprised how so many extras have been made and thought out in this boutique hotel. The room is modern and quite luxurious, and I was fascinated by the bathroom. Upon entering the room, it exudes style, class and luxury. Perfect cleanliness, service 10 points, amenities 10 points. We are very impressed with this place! The breakfast is delicious and warm.

The positioning of the hotel is excellent. Only 2 min walking distance from Tsarevets Fortress. Also, even though the hotel does not guarantee parking facilities, there are around 7 free parking spots right in front of the hotel and we were lucky enough to find one free. Very nice SPA and also excellent breakfast. Totally recommend it.

Location is smack down in the center of Veliko, so everything is 10-15 mins away. They have both external and underground parking, so big bonus points here, considering there's almost impossible to find a parking spot.
