All children are welcome.One child under 2 years stays free of charge when using a baby cot.
One child from 2 to 8 years is charged EUR 7.50 per person per night when using extra bed.
One older child or adult is charged EUR 15 per person per night when using extra bed.Please note that the 100% of first night deposit charged on day of booking must be paid by bank transfer. Everything was absolutely perfect except for the mattress on the body. Perhaps a memory foam topper would make it comfortable. Thank you for the lovely stay otherwise

Our interaction with our host Maria was by far the best part during our stay at Quinta do Canavial. She was really attentive with us and our needs and always found a way to help (e.g. called a taxi driver friend that took us to the starting point of a hike we wanted to do even though taxis in that area were sparse and the drivers didn't speak english very well). Even though the property had old furniture and appliances, it still felt cozy, welcoming and overall well kept. Breakfast was also simple but good and Maria always introduced some kind of new treat (e.g. special breads, jams, etc.)

Everything was ok. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view. I really recommend this Hotel!

The Staff was very welcoming. We were treated very friendly. The view is great and the kids loved the pool. the breakfast is simple and good. The Beds were cozy and the showers worked well.

The facilities are located pretty close to the center of Velas, and has an amazing view. The room was wide and equipped with 3 beds; functional setup with what you need for a stay in sao jorge. The staff has been friendly and helpful.
