The hosts are lovely and very helpful and accomodating. Location is close to the train station but not too noisy. Breakfast each morning was great. Very relaxing place.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Varenna. The hosts were very welcoming and kind and the room was very comfortable. Loved the view we had from our terrace, we’ll certainly miss it! Breakfast was also great - best croissants we’ve had! Looking forward to staying again soon!

Mauro and Paola are friendly and welcoming hosts at this gorgeous small villa. Our comfortable 1st floor room had a lovely large terrace which looked across to the lake. The train station, ferry wharf and waterfront are conveniently close ( just a few minutes walk to all). The small town centre is about 10 minutes walk from the village which is in a residential neighbourhood on the hill. A delightful continental breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, croissant, cheese,salumi and espresso will set you up for a great day. We enjoyed a delightful stay at Villa Varenna and I would love to return one day.

The continental breakfast was delicious we loved the fresh fruit and muesli as well as the delicious croissants. Despite being on the top floor in the attic it wasn't too low. Our host was very helpful carrying our luggage up the stairs, for 76 year olds that was a big bonus. Location close to the railway station was excellent.
