The apartment was exceptional! Very authentic Italian and such a fab location, close to the ferry port, train station, and right beside the town square. I loved my routine of an early morning run, then grabbing a take away coffee to drink on the rooftop terrace - the view is breathtaking. I was there in the winter when varenna was super quiet and loved it. Honestly felt like I was on the set of a Hallmark movie. Stock up on snacks / drinks as there’s not much around in terms of supermarkets. But very cute restaurants nearby and down along the prom. Would highly recommend for solo travellers or indeed couples / families. I hope to return soon!

I loved everything about the property. From the authentic Italian vibe/decor of the room to the views, you couldn’t really complain the price is so worth it! The local complimentary breakfast that’s soo convenient and close and they even provide cutlery and a microwave and fridge in the room. Toiletries are provided in the shower too! Owners are friendly and the check in instructions were super clear! Thanks for making my birthday the best one yet, I had the best time ever & will definitely be back next year :D

Very attentive, helpful host, giving detailed information for a smooth check in. Fantastic location, easy to find, easy to access and walk all around. Cristal clean, with necessary facilities . Big, well furnished room, good heating, comfortable bed.

In the centre of Varenna town. Lots of nearby attractions and food places. So easy to get to from all tourist attractions. Lovely window view of the mountains from my booked room. Instructions to enter building was informative and easy to follow, thanks to the staff incharge of this. Was able to leave my luggage in the lockers at the basement while exploring the town and surrounding towns on my last day. Really enjoyed my stay here! Will definitely book here again when I return!!

Perfect location to stay at Lake Como and explore all other beautiful places from here. The accommodation seems authentic and we felt like locals. We took takeaway breakfast at Al bariot and enjoyed at the beautiful rooftop. The room itself has everything you need, quite small but still comfortable

Great location, spotless clean,, splendid breakfast and the amazing views from the rooftop terrace! Got great details regarding my stay too. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Varenna or mid-lake Como!
